All the deceased — the aircraft's copilot and three people in the house — were burned to ashes, said officials. The injured, including the pilot and two minors, were transferred to diverse hospitals in Catia La Mar, state of Vargas close to Caracas, Venezuela's capital. The three-story house caught fire after the aircraft crashed at about 10:00 local time (14:30 GMT). Firemen put off the fire in the house and evacuated a nearby school and people from nearby houses. Civil protection director Luis Curvelo stated that the pilot had reported motor problems before crashing and that he was heading back to the airport from where he had lifted off. The aircraft had lifted off from Simon Bolivar Airport and was heading for Curazao island. None of the school children was injured, said the firemen. On Friday, another small aircraft crashed and killed both its crew members in the Venezuelan central state of Guarico.
